Our Favorite Weeknight Meals

It’s another “off week” for our podcast so we thought it would be fun to share some of our go-to recipes that the whole family loves and are quick and easy. Sara and I both like to keep it pretty healthy and clean (but not very low-fat, so you’ve been warned!), and these recipes all meet that requirement.

We hope you’ll enjoy making these – definitely let us know if you do!

  1. Sloppy Joes. This is an old-school type of meal and one everyone in my family absolutely loves. The recipe that I use is an old one that I worked to clean up. That’s one of my favorite things to do – I love the challenge of subbing out ingredients and trying to get an end result that still tastes the same!
  2. Sausage and Bell Pepper Pasta with Cream Sauce. This one comes together super fast and requires very few ingredients!
  3. Taco Salad. This recipe is full of bold flavors and yummy veggies. The creaminess from the avocado and the crunchiness from the tortilla chips coupled with the ability to build your own salad make it a big winner!
