Six One-Pieces You’ll Want to Wear This Summer

Oh the dreaded swimsuit shopping!  It’s that time of year ladies.  The search for the holy grail of swimsuits.  The one that trims our waist, makes our behinds smaller, perkier, or bigger.  The suit that makes our legs look slimmer and longer, and makes our stretch marks disappear.  Can someone please tell me where to find that swimsuit?

Since we have yet to find it, here are some options we’ve found while scouring the internet for the perfect swimsuit.  Happy shopping!

1. Striped Halter Wrap One Piece (Target) – $39.99

This suit from Target is a good option to add a pattern, but still stick with a classic look that will still be trendy two years from now.  It also gives you that high waisted look that is everywhere right now without wearing a bikini.

2. The Waikiki One Piece (Albion) – $128

Love the pattern and colors on this one.  It adds a little more coverage up top for those that are chasing around littles at the pool or beach.  The back has a super cute criss-cross pattern too!  Albion has some great one-pieces and two-pieces, like the one below.  What I love about these is you can mix and match the tops and bottoms.  They also have several options for coverage amount on tops and bottoms.  They also suggest suits for different body types such as, long torsos, petites, busty and plus size.  Which I LOVE!

3. GabiFresh x One Piece (SwimsuitsForAll) – $75.60

Swimsuits for All has some great options for women from sizes 4 to 34.  They have a good variety of swimsuits, including tankinis and bikinis.  What I liked about this one is you don’t have to sacrifice style for a larger size.  Which can be the case for many swimsuits made for bustier or plus size women.

4. Ballet One-Piece (J.Crew) – on sale now for $58

Pastel, or light colored swimsuits, are one of the trends right now.  This color is actually called Bronzed Clay, but reminds me of a “blush or bashful” pink. 😜  Whatever the name is…I LOVE it!  This suit is so simple you could wear it for years, but the color will be what makes it stand out.  Especially a color like Bronzed Clay.  This one comes in 8 colors and it’s also available in a few patterns.

5. Resort Stripe One-Piece (Ralph Lauren) – $108

Another trend we’ve seen during our swimsuit shopping is the sporty look.  This is a great option from Ralph Lauren. I actually bought a white and blue striped like this last summer and it was perfect for keeping up with my 3 year old on the beach because it stays put!  This suit still gives you the sporty look without looking like you’re headed to a swim lesson with Michael Phelps.

6. The Nina (Solid & Striped) – $168

This one is a little pricier than the others we’ve mention but we love the color AND the belt!  You’ll probably see a lot more belted swimsuits as summer draws near.  So you should be able to find some less expensive options if you’re digging this look.  Solid and Striped has this suit in 6 other colors.

One last thing!  Here are a few items I found while searching for a swimsuit (I may or may not have purchased similar items!).  I wanted to share because I thought they were great summer and/or beach accessories!

H&M Kaftan | H&M Espadrille Slides | Target Gold Chokers | J.Crew Flip Flops | ASOS Straw Beach Bag | Zara Straw Hat

*J.Crew flips flops are 2 for $20 right now and comes in several colors!*
