Episode 015: Discipleship in the Home

You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.

Anna, Michael, Avery, and Nathan Goad. Such a pretty family!

If you are a parent, one of the biggest responsibilities you’ll ever have is discipling your children. No one else will have the opportunity to influence the little people in your home as you.

In this episode, we talk about the magnitude of this responsibility BUT we also talk about how to make it fun, how to pick up when you feel like you’ve dropped the ball, and how the little things you’re probably already doing are the most important part of discipleship (NOT the elaborate plans, crafts, and programs most of us think form the foundation of family discipleship).

WHAT WE TALK ABOUT:

  • How to form YOUR plan for family discipleship
  • Family values
  • Avoiding being overwhelmed with all that we want to teach our kids
  • And a lot more!
